BHS, AHS play Indian Creek triangular
The Elkhorn North girls golf team won a triangular with Blair and Arlington on Thurday at Indian Creek Golf Course.
The Wolves finished with 176 strokes across nine holes, while the Bears totaled 208 and the Eagles had 251. North bested BHS in junior varsity play, too, 200-257.
Mackenzie Storjohann led Blair's effort with 46 strokes. Tessa Nicholson added 47 and Sophie Kern had 55.
The Bears' Diane Mitchell and Jaydyn Backman added 60 and 70 strokes, respectively.
Ally Meyer, meanwhile, shot Arlington's low score. She finished with 57 swings across nine holes, while Aspen Smutz carded 58.
Honora Andreasen added 66 AHS strokes to the team total, while Addie Thomas and Bella Wilcox carded 70 and 73 strokes, respectively.
In JV play, Blair's Kora Wehrli shot a 61. Lauren Wehrli and Madi Hiles finished with 64 strokes apiece, too, while Katelyn Mitchell had 68 and Chloe Shelton finished with 72.
The Eagles' Madi Fleming finished with 68 strokes, while Jensen Lorsch had 81, too.
Overall, Elkhorn North's Chelsea Mahloch carded the low score of the triangular — 41 swings.

Eagles finish 12th at Knolls
Arlington played 18 holes Wednesday during the Bennington Invite at Knolls Golf Course in Omaha, too.
The Eagles were 12th overall with Smutz carding her team's low score. She finished 26th out of 63 golfers with 116 swings.
Thomas and Andreasen, meanwhile, finished with 134 and 138 strokes, respectively.
“Addie and Honora had great days, and were very excited,” AHS coach Cailyn Ross said.
Meyer finished with 145 swings, too, while Wilcox took 160.
The host Badgers won the tournament with 379 strokes, while the individual medalist — Elkhorn's Annabelle Bang — carded 83.
AHS hosts its home invite today at 9 a.m. The Blair Bears are set to take part at River Wilds Golf Club.
