Smutz leads AHS golf in Fremont

Aspen Smutz took 57 swings Tuesday at Fremont Golf Club, leading the Arlington Eagles during a triangular with Fremont Bergan and Bennington.
Ally Meyer was second on coach Cailyn Ross' team, finishing with 61 strokes across nine holes. Bella Wilcox carded 65, too, while Honora Andreasen finished with 72. Addie Thomas shot a 73 as well, filling out the Eagles' varsity lineup.
AHS next competes 9 a.m. Wednesday during the Bennington Invitational at Knolls Golf Course in Omaha. The next day, Sept. 19, it plays during an Elkhorn North triangular at Indian Creek Golf Course.
