Young Eagles play football at home

Jr. Midget squad picks up win

Eagles youth football teams hosted games against the West Point Jr. Cadets on Saturday at Arlington High School.
The Jr. Midget went the hometown team's way. The Eagles won it, 30-16.
The grades 5-6 Arlington roster includes Logan Egbarts, David Prenzlow, Cole Smith, Tristin Schakat, Brooks Shada, Micah Kuester, Mason Rezac, Asher Logemann, Brody Overholt, Blake Wilkins, Nolan Hasenauer, Elliott Andreasen, Isaac Hansen, Teaguen Kallhoff, Blake Layman, Nate Von Seggern, Tucker Rehder, Levi Rogers, Finnegan Matthews, Dallan MacDonald, EJ Lozo and Max Fickenscher.
The Peewee contest, however, went West Point's way. The Jr. Cadets earned the 26-0 win.
The Eagles' grades 3-4 roster includes Ty McElroy, Dante Cole, Eli Andreasen, Rownan Reed, Holden Kuhr, Easton Miskowiec, Grant Robinson, Mikey Dicken, Mattix Thayer, Landon Miskowiec, Broden Metcalf, Hank Rosenbalm, Barrett Landholm, Aden Elmore, Liam Tabor, Ryan Jess, Evan Mackey, Ryker Nelson, Miles Mastny, Henrick Huffman and Hunter Burmood.
Youth football returns to AHS with games Sept. 22. The first is scheduled for 2 p.m. with the Peewee game to follow.
