The Douglas County West volleyball team visited Arlington High School on Thursday and pulled out a 3-0 victory.
The 25-17, 25-9 and 25-14 loss dropped the Eagles' season record to 6-19 overall. The Falcons, meanwhile, improved to 11-10.
The road team pulled ahead during the first set and held off AHS even after Eagles Macy Wolf and Peyton Timm notched late kills.
Mylee Hadan notched a late service ace during the second set, too, but DC West won it comfortably.
Then, in the third set, Arlington pulled ahead 5-4 with Wolf and Hayley Arp wins at the net. Arp added a kill shortly thereafter, but the Falcons maintained control of the set.
Timm notched a pair of aces down the stretch, but it wasn't enough as the Eagles dropped their last regularly scheduled home match. They were to play a play-in Nebraska Capitol Conference Tournament match at home Monday, too.
