VILLAGE OF ARLINGTON BOARD OF TRUSTEES SPECIAL MEETING—BUDGET PLANNING AUGUST 12, 2024 6:30 PM The Special Meeting for Budget Planning of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Arlington, Nebraska, was held at the Arlington Village Hall at 245 N 2nd Street, Arlington, NE. Paul Krause called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Roll call was taken as follows: Travis Kraemer, Present; Scott Pokorny, Present; Jeremy Hansen, Present; Jason Wiese, Present; Paul Krause, Present. Notice of the meeting was given in advance by publication in the Arlington Citizen, a designated method for giving notice as shown by the Affidavit of Publication attached to these minutes. Notice of this meeting was given to the Village Board members and a copy of their acknowledgment of receipt of notice and the agenda is attached to the minutes. The availability of the agenda was communicated in advance notice and in the notice to the Board of Trustees of this meeting. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. Paul Krause noted the posting of the Open Meetings Act as posted on the wall at the entrance to the Conference Room. FY 2024-25 budget was discussed with Ric Ortmeier, CPA and staff accountants Alyson Pedro and Ryan Doble: Capital improvement projects for parks, streets, library, auditorium, & routine budget items for repairs and maintenances, software subscriptions. FY 2024-25 wages were discussed. Topic was put on old business for further discussion. The board discussed contract agreements that affect FY 2024-25. Scott Pokorny made a motion to adjourn.
